Job Title: SEO Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SEO Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing search engine optimization strategies to improve our website’s visibility, attract organic traffic, and increase rankings on major search engines. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, strong analytical skills, and a passion for staying updated on search engine algorithms and industry trends. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and phrases relevant to our business and industry.
  2. Optimize website content, including landing pages, blog posts, and product pages, for targeted keywords, user experience, and search engine crawlability.
  3. Perform on-page SEO optimizations, such as meta tags, headings, URL structures, and internal linking strategies.
  4. Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO software.
  5. Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with web developers to implement solutions for site speed, crawlability, mobile-friendliness, and other factors impacting search engine rankings.
  6. Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies to build high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority through tactics such as guest blogging, influencer outreach, and social media engagement.
  7. Stay informed about search engine algorithms, industry trends, and best practices in SEO, and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain and improve website rankings.
  8. Prepare regular SEO performance reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
  9. Collaborate with content creators, web designers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of website development and content creation.
  10. Continuously monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify new opportunities and challenges in the SEO landscape.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot) are a plus.
  2. Proven experience in SEO roles, with a strong track record of improving website rankings and driving organic traffic growth.
  3. Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices across on-page, off-page, and technical optimization.
  4. Proficiency in using SEO tools and software, such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others, to conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking.
  5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize SEO performance.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  7. Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving SEO challenges.
