Job Title: Web3 Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web3 Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum, Polkadot, or Solana. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and web development, along with proficiency in programming languages and frameworks used in Web3 development. Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and technical specifications for Web3 applications.
2. Design, develop, and deploy decentralized applications (dApps) using blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum, Polkadot, or Solana.
3. Write smart contracts in Solidity or other programming languages for blockchain development, ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability.
4. Implement front-end interfaces and user experiences for dApps using web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web3.js.
5. Integrate blockchain functionality and features, such as tokenomics, decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), into dApps.
6. Test and debug smart contracts and dApps to ensure functionality, security, and reliability, including unit testing and integration testing.
7. Optimize performance and gas efficiency of smart contracts and dApps to minimize transaction costs and improve scalability.
8. Stay updated on emerging trends, protocols, and technologies in blockchain, Web3, and decentralized finance (DeFi), and apply knowledge to enhance development practices and workflows.
9. Collaborate with blockchain communities, open-source projects, and developer networks to contribute code, share knowledge, and drive innovation in the Web3 ecosystem.
10. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior developers and team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration in Web3 development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; relevant experience and contributions to the blockchain community may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. Proven experience in Web3 development roles, with a strong background in blockchain technology, decentralized applications (dApps), and smart contract development.
3. Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks used in Web3 development, such as Solidity, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
4. Experience with blockchain platforms and ecosystems, such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, or Binance Smart Chain, including knowledge of consensus mechanisms, governance models, and network architecture.
5. Strong understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts, protocols, and applications, including decentralized exchanges (DEXs), liquidity pools, yield farming, and lending platforms.
6. Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Vue.js, for building front-end interfaces and user experiences.
7. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) for code management and collaboration in distributed teams.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues in smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain interactions.
9. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Creativity and adaptability to explore new protocols, tools, and technologies in Web3 development, embracing continuous learning and innovation.
